For 2027 ELPA21:

• Deadline to submit domain exemptions in January, two weeks prior to testing 

• Team from NDE assessment, special education, and Title III evaluate all requests and use a scoring system

• District teams will have questions for team considerations

• District teams will have situations and recommendation examples

• District teams will have a scoring system to help them with determinations (still working on how this will work)
